Its been a long time that I posted a fresh juice recipe here. Not that I am not making them at home. Fresh juices are always welcome for us. A tall glass of cool juice is a must when the sun is blazing hot outside. And this is one of the many that we mostly make. Musk-melons are perfect coolers and I make it a point to utilize the melon season to the fullest. I buy a melon every alternate day and we use one half-th for one day.
The weather has been perfect for the past two weeks but the days before that were unbearable and muskmelon always made way into my grocery bag then. Weeks back when I was going through the beverages folder, I saw that I had missed posting the most loved recipe of our home. And so the next time we made it, I took a few pics to share here. Its simple ~ scoop, blend, serve. The only point is Serve chilled and use a tall glass to serve it. You can add a ripened banana too just the way I did in my muskmelon-banana smoothie.
Serve chilled with ice cubes!!!

~*What U Need*~ Muskmelon - 1 Water - 2 cups Sugar - to taste How I Made it: Wash, clean and cut the muskmelon into half. Scoop out the seeds and then the flesh. Blend with water and sugar till smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. |
